My name is Steph Watts and my super power is uniting function and form—and creating sense and sensibility in a cluttered life.

About Me

To me this is like solving a puzzle. I start by finding out what you need and how that can be achieved without judgments and a with sense of humor. The fun is in the doing and the satisfaction comes in how quickly you see results.

About You

Have you ever stared into a closet, a drawer, or a garage and wondered what is in there and why can’t I find the thing I need?

Have you exhausted all of your storage space and need new ideas for creating more?

Are you moving out or moving in and need extra hands and a reassuring presence?

Sometimes you simply need an outsider’s perspective, a helping hand and calm presence to get a job done.

Chaos can create stress that often paralyzes us and leads to inaction. I would love to help you reduce the stress of stuff and have more control over your personal environment. My goal is to hear you breathe a sigh of relief when the project is over.

“I am a very busy working mother and despite loving a well-ordered home, I never have enough time to do the organizing despite all the bins, baskets and containers I buy. Steph came in, assessed the situation, presented us with practical solutions and in no time at all had created organized areas that not only maximized our storage space, but have allowed us to keep it maintained. Steph is calm, respectful and incredibly resourceful. Highly recommended!”

“After Steph’s first couple of hours in our kitchen, my husband and I realized that we are good at a lot of things but we are not good at organizing. We didn’t even know that these solutions existed. Now it feels as if my kitchen is breathing at a different tempo. As my husband said it’s magic!”

-Ann Sofi

“I have used Steph twice making over the master closet of our old house and then again to design and organize the master closet and kitchen pantry when we moved into our new house. Both times she spent a lot of time listening to our unique needs and constraints before designing. She has a keen eye for efficient use of space and on-going ease of maintenance. It was hard for me to throw away some well worn clothes but she gently helped me do it, letting me work at my own pace. I am still clinging onto a shirt I’ve had since 1981. Some things are timeless.”

“When faced with having to move my parents from their long-term home into a much smaller residence, Steph provided a much needed overview of how to sort and organize their many belongings. While my siblings and I could easily become lost in the sentimental memories of the objects we were dealing with, she was able to refocus us to the task at hand: save, give away, or toss. Soon, we had shelving units lining the walls of their new garage—each categorized, labeled and easily accessible for my parents to see and use. Having a person like Steph who was not only sensitive to how overwhelming this move was for my parents, but also kind in keeping everyone working together was truly indispensable!”

“After the loss of my husband, I was overwhelmed with the tasks that presented themselves. Steph not only helped me gently sort, donate and recycle many possessions, but she also encouraged me to break down other staggering complexities I was loathed to do like following up with the necessary professionals, canceling and transferring accounts. She helped me break down these tasks into small steps that I could manage. Her compassion and hugs were beyond what I could have asked for.”
